Danette Quilts

One of the things I do is make quilts. They are modernly traditional.

Finishing up for Do.Good.Stitches

All Around the Neighborhood

At long last, the little house quilt was finished. It took forever due to work schedule. This pattern came from the ModaBakeshop and is free - add your own twist like I did by adding in some "highrises", mansions and duplexes. (I'm working on a new variation that adds in some additional dwelling types). The best part is that you're working with charm squares, predominantly. It's a great way to use those up.

I'm on to the next project using a fantastic fabric collection from Vanessa Christensen at V&CO - Ombre. I'm using one of her layouts as well - it's a snowball block arranged in a wonderful, colorful way. Check out Criss-Cross Applesauce in her pattern selections.
